Pivotal role bridging demand and supply
For Vaillant Group Denmark we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring optimal supply chain operations within a growing HVAC industry and with innovative new product launches. Utilizing SAP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP), you will manage forecasts, inventory levels, production scheduling, and coordination with headquarters and internal stakeholders and leadership team to achieve operational excellence.

You will join a newly restructured Vaillant with new management, many new colleagues and a vibrant culture based in proud industry leading products and services. You will be responsible for converting sales estimates from the Nordic market into timely supply from Vaillant European manufacturing sites, and you will be part of the Commercial unit reporting to the Nordic Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage demand forecasting processes using SAP IBP, aligning supply with market needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend actions to ensure optimal inventory control and minimal obsolescence.
- Plan and schedule production activities based on forecasted demand, resource availability, and lead times.
- Collaborate closely with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow and on-time delivery.
- Analyze and report on KPIs related to forecast accuracy, inventory levels, supplier performance, and service levels.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement within the supply chain process, focusing on efficiency and responsiveness.
- Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings by providing accurate forecasts, demand analysis, and inventory insights.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within manufacturing or technology environments.
- Proficiency with SAP ERP and SAP IBP tools is required as is advanced excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the heating technology, HVAC, or renewable energy sector is a plus.
