What You Will Do

As Senior Manager IT-Strategy, you will be acting as evangelist, consultant and program manager for IT and digitalization initiatives of Siemens Financial Services (SFS) in close alignment with management and business stakeholders.

You have a mandate to support the CIO agenda by developing SFS IT into the future. Meaning identifying technology, outline strategies and run programs that will contribute to SFS as the “A” player in the industry.

The role will strengthen the Strategy team and play an important part in the IT leadership of SFS. You will work globally across different business units out of the SFS Nordic office in Solna, Stockholm, Sweden.

Your main tasks are:

• Develop & Drive IT & Digitalization Strategy: Shape and execute a compelling IT & digitalization strategy, presenting it effectively to C-level stakeholders.
• Connect Business & Technology: Bridge the gap between technology and business value, identifying impactful digital use cases.
• Lead Digitalization Projects: Initiate and prioritize and partly implement core digital transformation initiatives from MVP to full-scale business adoption.
• Promote Innovation: Identify emerging technology trends, evaluate cutting-edge technologies, and foster collaboration with FinTechs, universities, and industry experts.
• Optimize IT Costs: Drive efficiency through cost-saving initiatives, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and standardization.
• IT-Efficiency/IT-Organization: Understand traditional and modern IT workforces in order to continuously challenge the status quo and to develop a profound IT organization, able to act as a strong partner and digitalization driver.
• Travel: Ability to travel to the HQ in Munich on a monthly basis.

Your Profile

• A degree in Information Technology, Economics, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Financial Services, with a strong background in digital business models and IT strategy.
• Consulting experience (preferably from a top-tier firm) in CIO Advisory, IT Strategy or Digital Transformation.
• Hands-on experience with agile project management and leadership.
• Strategic mindset with strong communication skills to influence senior management.
• Passion for market trends, emerging technologies, and digital business models.
• Good understanding of regulations, particularly from financial sector
• Fluent English skills (German is a plus).
