Mölnlycke, a world-leading MedTech company specializing in advanced wound care and surgical solutions, is looking for a seasoned Sales Manager to take on full commercial responsibility for their Wound Care business in Finland and Sweden.

This position is a rare opportunity to continue the development of two mature markets, lead established sales teams, and help Mölnlycke deliver on their bold growth ambitions across the region.

Strategic Sales Leadership in Two Mature Markets

Based in Helsingfors, you will be responsible for executing Mölnlycke’s commercial strategy and ensuring sustainable, profitable growth across Finland and Sweden. The key to your success will be your ability to coach and develop your teams, lead through change, and build strong relationships with healthcare decision-makers and KOLs.

You will work in close collaboration with Marketing, Finance, Commercial Excellence and your BeNeNord (Benelux and Nordic) leadership peers, aligning local execution with the company’s strategic priorities: Customer-Centricity, Digitalization and Sustainability.

Your areas of responsibility include, but will not be limited to:

  • Driving sales growth through effective execution of commercial strategies and development of business plans
  • Identifying market trends and opportunities to support long-term, profitable growth
  • Building and leading two high-performing, engaged sales teams with a strong focus on development and retention
  • Evolving the sales model towards an Omnichannel approach, in collaboration with Marketing and your manager
  • Strengthening customer relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and opinion leaders (KOLs)
  • Ensuring consistent execution of the sales process, including CRM usage and sharing of best practices
  • Implementing Commercial Excellence initiatives to improve team performance and efficiency
  • Managing pricing strategies in line with local and global guidelines
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Bringing clinical and commercial excellence together

To thrive in this role, you bring a solid background in healthcare or MedTech sales leadership, ideally in an international context. You have a deep understanding of the Finnish and Swedish healthcare systems, including their procurement processes and reimbursement landscapes. Your strategic and proactive mindset enables you to identify emerging market trends and combine your insights with your customer-centric approach to maximise the potential of your team and the product portfolio. In addition, you thrive in an environment where ambition and autonomy go hand-in-hand, allowing you to act on – and explore opportunities for growth in the segment.

We imagine that you hold a university degree, preferably in business, life sciences or a related field, however, most importantly, you are a people leader at heart: empathetic, inspiring, and committed to develop the local teams in a cross-cultural setting.

You are fluent in Finnish and English, while proficiency in Swedish is an absolute advantage, but not a requirement.
