Strategic impact – Exciting and broad responsibility
Reporting directly to the Head of Health Economics & Reimbursement, Nordics you will join a strong Health Economics & Reimbursement team.

Approximately 50% of the role is to be responsible for supporting Medtronic’s amazing Cardiovascular product portfolio and approximately 50% of the role is to support Value Based Health Care projects across all the business units. You will have extensive co-operation with sales, marketing and market development functions in the Nordic region.

The position is newly created and will include these 3 major responsibilities:

Expand market access. The Health Economics & Reimbursement Analyst will ensure that prioritized Health Technology Assessments (HTA), reimbursement submissions and related processes lead to favourable outcomes for adoption of Medtronic’s therapies.

Develop, adjust and implement health economic tools that incorporate both clinical and economic data. These tools will aid influencers when constructing business cases that demonstrate the economic value of Medtronic’s offerings.

Contribute with key insights to drive value-based health care projects. This involves working cross-functionally and in collaboration with health care providers to successfully implement value based health care initiatives taking the full patient pathway into consideration and proving the impact of Medtronic technologies on outcomes that matters to patients.

Focus on healthcare analytics
We expect you to hold a B.Sc/M.Sc/Ph.D in Economics, Health Economics, Management, Medicine, Public Health or relevant field with focus on analytics and quantitative knowledge. You will furthermore have gained 3 – 5 years’ experience with funding, reimbursement, health economics or market access application in healthcare environment from either; medical device company, pharmaceutical company, biotechnology company, health care provider or consultancy company within healthcare. Alternatively, experience from the public administration or in a hospital setting.
