The role of the Account Manager is to generate profitable growth within the Enterprise and Public Sector (EPS) segment, by identifying and penetrating new business (i.e. identifying and securing new accounts to position the Lenovo capability and offering)
- To proactively manage an assigned set of accounts- to identify, qualify and win new business opportunities
- To produce accurate account plans and sales forecasts
- To ensure sales activity is tracked using the required reporting tools
- To understand customer requirements and develop relevant solutions
- To inform customers of new products and road-maps, proposing upgrades and transition paths as appropriate.
- To configure, price, negotiate and quote sales solutions
- To partner with business partners to maximize all aspects of closing deals
- Excellent ability to communicate and negotiate
- Strong account management planning, organization and sales reporting skills
- Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong team working skills and ability to work in a multinational environment
- Proven sales record preferably within new business and/or the IT-sector
- Motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
- Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing at senior management level
- Able to work to deadlines.
- Keen to learn and develop.
