Metronor is on an exciting journey of rapid global expansion, and we’re looking for a seasoned Sales Executive (VP Sales & Marketing) with a passion for cutting-edge technology. Your Mission:
You’ll play a pivotal role in driving our international growth by bringing our unique technologies to leading players in industries such as Automotive, Aerospace, Casting & Forging, Energy, Fabrication, Oil & Gas, and Piping. Key responsibilities include:
- Market Development: Analyze markets and build strategic relationships with technology-driven manufacturers worldwide.
- Sales Management: Lead direct sales in the Nordic region and oversee our dedicated sales offices in Munich and Detroit.
- Client Solutions: Present tailored solutions, cultivate client relationships, and negotiate long-term agreements.
- Innovation Bridge: Collaborate closely with R&D, providing valuable customer insights and shaping product development.
- Leadership Role: Be a key member of the Management Team, working alongside the CEO, CFO, COO, and CTO.
- Strategy & Execution: Coordinate all sales and marketing activities for Metronor Industrial.
- End-to-End Sales: Prepare technical proposals, manage negotiations, assess risks, and drive deal closures.
- Industry Presence: Represent Metronor at key conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong background in technical sales with international experience
- Expertise in technology-intensive industries
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Cybernetics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Process & Production, or Industrial Economics
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally
- Fluency in English and Norwegian/Swedish – German is a plus
