Product Specialist to Mediplast
We are looking for a Product Specialist – Wound care and Infusion to join our team in Finland. In this role, you will be responsible for a designated product portfolio, driving sales and marketing efforts across Inland, Eastern and Northern Finland collaborative areas. This is a position with a high degree of independence, where you will take ownership of planning, implementing, and executing commercial activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Training & Customer Education: Educate customers on your portfolio (wound care, infusion & CSTD, restraining belts and urology) through technical and clinical training and product demonstrations. Stay updated on product training and usage, best practices, and clinical advancements.
- Customer Relationship & Sales Growth: Achieve sales targets by identifying opportunities, developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and maintaining key customer contacts.
- Business & Market Analysis: Analyze market data to optimize territory plans, support decision-making, and contribute to marketing activities. Collaborate across business units to drive commercial success.
- Industry Representation & Networking: Represent the company at industry fairs and events, actively promoting products and building relationships with key professionals.
- Tender Process: The role includes active participation both in the pre-tender process as well as tender submission. You will influence the tender specification and work closely with the Tender department to ensure successful submissions. You will also provide market insights and product expertise to support competitive and well-structured tenders.
About you
You preferably have previous experience as a Product Specialist in the industry, with a strong ability to build and nurture relationships with customers and stakeholders. You are self-motivated and take great responsibility for your own product portfolio, demonstrating excellent planning and organizational skills.
We believe you have a background as a trained nurse or relevant experience within the medical or healthcare sector. Additionally, experience in sales, marketing, or product management is highly valued, and knowledge of tender processes and working with procurement units is an advantage.
As a person, you are business- and result-oriented, with the ability to drive the business forward. You thrive in a team environment while also enjoying working independently and managing your own projects.
Requirements:
- Fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
- B driving license, as the role requires extensive travel to meet with customers.
- Ability to travel as required for the role
- Experience in the industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the patient care team
