Management of Pricing and Tender Strategies

Ipsen is looking for a Price & Tender Manager to optimize pricing and tender conditions across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. In this role, you will also contribute to market access projects aimed at securing reimbursement, working closely with access colleagues to ensure patients receive timely and sustained access to their medicines at the right price.

Approximately 60% of your time will focus on pricing and tender commitments, with the remaining time dedicated to access initiatives.

Furthermore, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Monitor local pricing issues, assess risk and opportunities
  • Handle price changes
  • Development of business cases of price adjustments for Global Value & Access presentations
  • Create and lead the strategic tender plan for the Nordic countries
  • Closely monitor tender publications in all Nordic countries
  • Develop and submit tenders, committing to pricing strategy
  • Create and nurture close relationships with key local payers, clinical experts, decision makers, and tender administrators
  • Cooperate closely with respective KAM for the region/product and internal stakeholders
  • Support and contribute to other areas within the field of market access when needed

You will join Ipsen’s Market Access Department for the Nordic region, and report to the Market Access Director, Peter Mathiesen.

Your profile

  • University degree in relevant area (e.g. Pharmacist, Biologist Nurse or Business Administration)
  • Proven track record of working with Pharmaceutical or Medical Device products
  • Significant experience in and knowledge of the tender process
  • Experience working within an environment of strict compliance to regulatory guidelines
  • Extensive knowledge in a pharmaceutical industry or medical device environment
  • Previous experience in Market Access or a strong ambition to enter the field is highly valued

As a person, you are trustworthy, self-driven and focused. You have great interpersonal skills and a network within the field. The successful candidate will have a high level of integrity and professionalism and be able to handle high-pressure situations effectively and methodically. Furthermore, you are thorough and meticulous and can prioritize with support from your more experienced colleagues.

You are fluent in either Swedish or Danish and have a high level of verbal and written English. In general, you have good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
