Technical Commissioning Branch Engineer

The duration of the position is approximately 12 months, depending on project progress. In this position, you report to Technical Commissioning Branch Team Leader and to the Technical Commissioning Manager. The position is located on OL3 construction site.

The main duties include preparation of Result Record Sheets (RRS), test reports including review and evaluation of the results. Together with the engineering branches and commissioning, the Technical Commissioning Branch Engineer valuates impact of the open points on the tests and test results.

To succeed in this position, you should possess a degree in nuclear engineering, instrumentation, I&C or electrical engineering. At least two years’ experience from nuclear power plants is expected, as well as knowledge in MS Office, PWR and EPR technology. Besides this, you should also be fluent in English, both written and spoken, ability with French and/or German would be beneficial. As a person, we hope you are flexible and able to work as a part of a multinational team on a hectic construction site.

Electrical Commissioning Technician

TVO is having the OL3 Nuclear Power Plant built by Areva and Siemens consortium and several of their subcontractors. We are now looking for the following professional to work for our international client company Areva NP based in OL3 site:

Electrical Commissioning Technician

to perform duties under authority of the Electrical Process Commissioning Section Lead. The Electrical Commissioning Technician is responsible of performing all duties related to commissioning of electrical feeders and component in a LV distribution system.
The duration of the position is approximately 6 months, depending on project progress. This position is located on OL3 construction site.

The main duties include safely supporting electrical commissioning of SWGR components like feeders for process consumers (motors, valves, heaters, self-standing systems) under the conditions of the test permit.

You will also carry out individual tests for all LV feeders at a dedicated test equipment, support I&C signal tests and perform troubleshooting of electrical issues associated with components of the LV distribution systems. Preparation of the electrical commissioning results is a part of your role.
Besides this you support other activities in assigned tasks.
You need to commend quality, schedule and safety in activities such as performing all commissioning work in compliance with the Finnish electrical law, support timely execution of scheduled tasks and verify commissioning test results support safe operation of the electrical distribution system.

To succeed in this position, you should have at least one year work experience of electrical commissioning associated with LV switchgear. Besides this, you should be experienced with MV/LV test equipment associated with electrical commissioning.

You should also be fluent in English, both written and spoken, ability with French, German and/or Finnish would be beneficial. As a person, we hope you are flexible and able to work as a part of a multinational team on a hectic construction site.

Commissioning Technician – Mechanical Equipment

Commissioning Technician – Mechanical Equipment
to coordinate commissioning interfaces on the field for assigned tasks. The duration of the position is approximately 12 months, depending on project progress. In this position you report to Section Lead – Mechanical Equipment and you are located on OL3 construction site.
The main duties include safely performed test activities according to the commissioning schedule, commissioning instruction and site procedures. You will also document test results including the collection of test data records/plots and Result Record Sheets.
To succeed in this position, you should possess a technical degree in mechanical equipment or nuclear engineering. At least two years commissioning/outage experience power is expected with the flexibility in working time due to the commissioning schedule necessities, as is basic knowledge of system commissioning activities and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Documentum. As a plus we value knowledge of Pressurized Water Reactor systems, commercial nuclear plant operational or test experience and basic knowledge about nuclear power plant startup test activities including standard test equipment. Knowledge of fuel handling systems and /or lifting equipment is also a plus. Besides this, you should also be fluent in English, both written and spoken, ability with French, German and/or Finnish would be beneficial. I&C Field Commissioning Technician

TVO is having the OL3 Nuclear Power Plant built by Areva and Siemens consortium and several of their subcontractors. We are now looking for the following professional to work for our international client company Areva NP based in OL3 site:

I&C Field Commissioning Technician

to ensure that both measuring circuits and actuation circuits are tested on a basis of a Standard Commissioning Instruction. This position is located on OL3 construction site and the estimated duration is approximately 6 months.

The main duties include periodically review of the list of circuits to be tested, request and check of receipt the adequacy of validity of testing and communication equipment. Besides this you will collect design documentation and attend to pre-job briefing prior to tests execution. While executing, you will implement the commissioning instructions and while monitoring you will prove inputs to progress measurement and reporting to the test coordinator.

While the state of closure is on hand, you will take care of following events: circuits have been tested as per time schedule, troubleshooting activities have been conducted and testing/communication devices have been returned in good shape. In this job you might be working in shifts as per project needs.

To succeed in this position, you should possess a technical degree in automation field and have experience in commissioning activities on sensors, actuators, switches and similar field devices. You should also have knowledge of the standard calibration tools and procedures for pressure/temperature/ph/flow/level/conductivity sensors. You should also be familiar with standard testing tools and circuit testing procedures and reading mechanical documents and I&C detailed design document. Besides this, you should also have intermediate knowledge of written and spoken English, ability with French, German and/or Finnish would be beneficial. As a person, you should have good organizational skills. We appreciate knowledge of HSE and IT security aspect and hope you are able to work as a part of a multinational team on a hectic construction site.

Design Handover Engineer

This position is located on OL3 construction site and the estimated duration is approximately 8 months.
The main duties include controlling all the technical documents expected from suppliers for engineering and manufacturing as well as solving questions related to final documentation, such as managing the data and tools handover topics, close open points and solve issues.
You will also contact suppliers to explain the documentation requirements and collect missing documents.

To succeed in this position, you should hold a degree in Engineering with good knowledge of tools such as Excel and AutoCad. Besides this, you should understand technical and quality documents. You should also be an autonomous multi-tasker with good communication skills and be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in other languages, such as Finnish, German or French, is beneficial. The ability to work as a part of a hectic multinational construction site is also required and as a person you should have an eye for details and be able to work on own initiative.

Fire Protection Officer

Fire Protection Officer
to make strict follow-ups of application and compliance with rules, national standards and legislation. The position is located on OL3 construction site and the duration is approximately 8 months, with possible extension.
The main duties of the Fire Protection Officer include reporting and recording of actions and deviations on site. The FPO is a part of the QHSE team, reports on daily basis to the team leader and works closely with supervisors and different teams. Moreover, active communication with the team members and contractors is an imporant part of the work, as well as their guidance and instructing. Together with the contractors the FPO also arranges safety inspections.
Besides this, the FPO arranges rescure trainings and tests with the site personnel, and updates daily fire protection tasks such as exit ways and signalization.

To succeed in this position, you need to have technical experience in fire protection and prevention in industrial environments or at construction sites. You should also have experience from writing reports, records and instructions. You hold a Hot Work License, and have good knowledge of Finnish Rescue and Chemical and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation, as well as of Finnish Rescue Service and related operations (HÄKE) structure.
Knowledge of MS Office is required. Fluency in English and Finnish, both written and spoken, is mandatory. Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure will help you succeed in this position as will the ability to work as a part of an international environment.

to be responsible within the Supply Chain Project Department to place orders of goods and services to reach Project objectives in term of quality, time schedule and cost. The approximate duration of this position is 12 months, depending on project progress.

The main duties include analysing purchasing needs and evolution of needs specifications, identifying potential new suppliers both locally and international. As a buyer, you should also conduct bidding process, and lead the contracts negotiation with the suppliers. Besides this you will also coordinate interfaces with other departments, analyze prices, propose alternatives and offer conformity with the requirements and the expected project performance. Reporting on progress and the activity in general is also a part of your job. Occasionally you also have to manage the contract execution until delivery and contract closure and participate to claims building or claims defense. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager.

To succeed in this position,you need to have experience on technical procurement and an engineering background. We prefer experience in purchasing and big projects. Besides this, you should have high communication and negotiation competence. You should also have a proactive way of working and an analytical mindset.

You are expected to be fluent in speaking and completely proficient in writing English. Proficient in German and/or French and/or Finnish is seen as an advantage.

Commissioning Administrative Assistant and Training Coordinator

The approximate duration for this position is 6-12 months, depending on the site progress. This position is located on OL3 construction site.

Under the authority of the CFS Commissioning Management, the Administrative Assistant and Training Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and tracking of department required training, in addition to assisting and supporting the CFS/NI Commissioning Team with administrative functions.

In this position, you are responsible for department’s overall administrative functions and topics, such as supporting preparation periodic reports, processing department correspondence with client and sub-suppliers, booking business travel, controlling building-specific meeting rooms, office supplies. etc. You are expected to contribute to an effective, new-comer’s integration process in coordination with the departments branch management. In addition to this, you will plan and schedule department training sessions, which include record keeping, and support various technical tasks (reformatting documents, compilation of information, etc.) as requested.

To succeed in this position, you should have at least five years of relevant work experience with similar job tasks, as well as experience with work that include training preparation and execution.  You should preferably have gotten your High-School Exam 3-5 years ago, and have advanced knowledge of various Microsoft tools. Fluency in English, both written and spoken is mandatory for this position. Knowledge in Finnish, German and French are considered as a plus.

to make cost follow-ups and be responsible for parts of the internal reporting. The position is located on OL3 construction site and the duration is approximately 12 months, depending on project progress.
The main duties include handing of construction invoices and puchase requests. Besides this, elaborating the periodical financial reviews, periodical closings and cash-forecasts will also be a part of your duties.
To succeed in this position, you need to have a university or business school Master Degree in Finance.
We are looking for a team player who also can work autonomously on own initiative. You should also be rigorous, proactive and a solution provider.
Excellent technical MS Excel skills are required, knowledge in SAP is an advantage. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory; Fluency in Finnish, French or German is beneficial. Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure will help you succeed in this position as will the ability to work as a part of an international environment.

Documentation Officer (Painting)

to establish the codification and documentation system according to valid standards for the painting works on site. This position is located on OL3 construction site and the estimated duration is 12 months.

The main duties include establishing the archive for documentation of excecuted works, as well as establishing a process for gathering the documentated work togheter with supervisors, site managers and painting managers. To complete the archving, you will request and collect paper documentation according to the process, and digitalize and file the documentation packages. By keeping the coordination and communication clear and open in the painting team, you will be able to get all information needed to prepare the final documentation package of packing. You will report the documenation status weekly to the painting manager at OL3.

To succeed in this position, you need to have at least three years of work experience in office works of large projects, such as documentation and archiving. Experience of leading small teams are also needed. Besides this, you should have excellent communication skills and be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge in MS Office programs is mandatory, as well as good report writing skills. The ability to work flexible as a part of a hectic multinational construction site is also required and as a person you should have an eye for details and be able to work on own initiative.
