Can you expand BNP Factor’s solid and profitable client portfolio in Denmark/Norway?
Referring directly to the Head of Sales you will undertake a key position within BNP Factor in Denmark and become part of a sales team of 3 – all dedicated to grow the business in Denmark and beyond.

Your focus will be to create new commercial finance business with corporates – and this from the very first contact until the contract is effective. Within the Danish/Norwegian market your primary tasks and responsibilities are:

  • to develop the network and relationship to key business introducers like Private Equity houses etc.,
  • to ensure acquisition of prospects, hence organize and lead meetings,
  • to ensure close cooperation with the colleagues across the organization to ensure long lasting relationships with the clients after hand-over to the client relationship team,
  • to manage the preparation of credit applications supported by a Business Analyst,
  • to push through the new client request process with the relevant decision takers (e.g. Management, Risk and Compliance),
  • to achieve the sales goals.

Your job spans from a strategic approach to the operational sales approach including hands-on sales work and relationship building. Hence your work includes origination, negotiations, some credit analysis and asset evaluation, drafting and presenting the client solutions, documentation and completion of client formalities. Besides this you will also take part in seminars, workshops and exhibitions.

Your educational background is within banking, commercial financing, economy etc. – either at Master/BA-level or via an education within the banking sector.

The basic requirement is a solid experience in terms of 8-10 years of experience from the financial industry with B2B sales. This could be from factoring, leasing or credit insurance. Experience from a financial institution in a sales/relationship role dealing with large corporates could also be interesting – as well as a sales role within Cash Management is relevant. Knowledge/experience from credit assessments and legal insight to contractual law is desired.

Attractive position in one of the largest global financial institutions
You head up the risk area and take on the full responsibility for the credit & risk issues in the Nordic business area (DK/SE) which primarily focuses on credit and counter-part risk. You are an obvious member of the Nordic Credit Committee.

Overall the Head of Risk is in charge of the assessment and monitoring of (credit and counter-part) risk in such a way that risks remain well controlled. You will ensure the quality of the growing credit portfolio through analysis and assessment, but also ensure a fruitful relation with your stakeholders in the Danish entity and across borders.

You report to the head of Risk for Factoring Northern Europe in Belgium – Risk being an independent function – but you play an active role in the local Nordic Management Team and have a dotted line to the Nordic CEO.

Your key focus and activities are:

  • credit & risk advise to the new Sales and Client Relationship team with regards to amounts, collateral etc., informing about risks, mitigation, procedures, policies and other technical aspects,
  • credit & risk assessment of corporate clients in terms of new credit applications on prospects, , yearly review of existing clients,
  • Enhance risk awareness across the Nordic organization by eventually setting up ad-hoc training when needed
  • Act as local decision takers according to appropriate group delegation model credit & risk surveillance, hence analysis of the credit portfolio regarding risk-rating, product-types etc.
  • Ensuring that contracts/collateral documentation used are in line with approved legal frameworks,
  • Management reporting, hence develop, update and prepare various MIS reports.

You will take an active part in the development of the Nordic business being involved in concrete client matters seen from a credit & risk perspective.

Proven skills and experience within credit & risk assessment
Your educational background is within banking, commercial financing, economy etc. – preferable at Master level (degree in business administration/economy/finance or equivalent). Alternatively, you bring an education from the banking sector combined with a proven experience as described below.

The basic requirement is a solid experience in terms of 5-10 years of experience with credit analysis and assessment of credit risk (corporate portfolios). Through this you have gained an in-depth knowledge of various commercial finance products and collaterals.

You are business-oriented, proactive and motivated by having a key role in this international organisation. Your personality is characterised by the ability to work independently and being self-motivated. Your relationship-building approach and your excellent communication skills enables you to engage and influence at senior level. You are assertive and can go against consensus with a sound argument/explanation or proactively propose alternative solutions that fits with the risk profile of the client. KI digitaliserer kommunernes sagsbehandling med NetBlanket og det er fiftytwo, som har udviklet den digitale blanketløsning, der anvendes mange steder i den offentlige sektor. Fokus på udvikling samt god til at håndtere kunder

You will as Client Relationship Manager undertake a Key Position in further strengthening the relationship with existing clients within The Nordic region – especially Denmark/Sweden. Project management and scientific inputs
With a direct report to the Clinical Research Director, the Project Manager (PM) is overall responsible for managing the clinical trials in all phases, from start-up to the end of the trial. Experienced and flexible

You have extensive knowledge of GCP guidelines, applicable regulatory requirements, medical terminology and clinical trial processes. We will further expect you to have documented project management skills including the ability to plan a project and operate according to timeline, plan and budget. Furthermore, we expect you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and in one of the Scandinavian languages.
