The position as Senior Manager for AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) Projects is a newly established position. AME was established after a reorg in September 2016, and the Projects Team needs a leader to head the improvement and optimization of the process around project execution regarding introduction of new products. The team owns the process from cradle to grave! You will lead a team of highly experienced project managers situated around the world located in Asia, Europa and the Americas.

The specific tasks include:

  • Development of a high performing team
  • Optimization of the project execution process
  • Overview of the Project Portfolio and needed resources for projects and activities
  • Management of full cycle of portfolio planning within AME
  • Scenarios alignment with relevant stakeholders and subsequent selection
  • Consolidation of portfolio and roadmaps according to decisions
  • Leading selected improvement processes

The ideal person for this role is a people manager, one who understands how to deliver through others and one who can motivate people around him/her to come up with solutions according to the agreed plan.

Your background is most probably founded on an engineering degree and enforced by 7+ years with management roles in manufacturing organisations with international reach and a projects approach to NPI.

The successful candidate can show both technical knowledge combined with an extrovert personality and has experience as the link between development and production. You have possibly been abroad and have an international mindset and can demonstrate a successful track record.

Global (Senior) Product Specialist – Motors & Drives

The position as Global Product Specialist in the Motor & Drives team is a position where you will act as the technical link between market, production, supplier, and product maintenance. You will divide your time between two product areas: wall-mounted drives and motors with built-in drives. You will work primarily with frequency converters. Therefore, you will work closely with the two Product Managers of the two areas. Additionally, you will have a large interface with colleagues from other departments as you are a part of the internal support within your product area. Your customers are all internal, i.e. Sales, R&D and QA. You will act as an outside-in liaison for the organisation.

As Global Product Specialist, your work tasks can be divided into three main areas consisting of

  • Product knowhow and documentation
  • Technology and product development
  • Business and sales support

A highly technical specialist with an interest in frequency converters
The ideal candidate has a profound technical knowledge of Frequency Converters. The knowledge can come from working hands-on with frequency converters or from electrical & instrumentation related jobs. We imagine that you hold a degree as electrical engineer or another relevant education within electronics or motors. Ideally, you have 4-6 years of relevant work experience after graduation and are now ready to take on a position with global responsibility.

As a person, you are detail oriented and like to work within a technically complex area. You are a good networker who can communicate technically complex knowledge to both colleagues and customers.
