Senior Business Transformation Professional

Do you want a key role in making LEO’s super ambitious 2025 strategy a success?

LEO Pharma has set out to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner. They will not succeed by doing things like they always have. As such, their compass is pointing directly at change and transformation, and that is why they need you. If you bring solid change management experience and strong project management skills, you now have the opportunity to personally impact the transformation of a successful, international company. As part of the Business Transformation Office you will contribute to execution of the LEO 2025 strategy as well as the development of LEO Pharma’s overall execution model, and the shaping of your own role.

Development of new project framework and hands-on project management
You will join an organisation on the move meaning that they do not yet have a complete framework with all tools, models, templates and processes. A vital part of your job will be to contribute to the development and implementation of this, and you will become a very important sparring partner to the Head of the Business Transformation Office (BTO). The role comprises strategy execution, development of a new framework and project management and your guiding light will be: execution! Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Contribute to the development of an overall, best practise transformation project model
  • Align project activities with project objectives to make sure they stay on track – in specific projects and overall
  • Follow-up on milestones, actions, KPI’s, meetings and reporting – and prepare reports to the top management
  • Handle project management tasks in specific strategic projects, e.g. how to transform the R&D organisation to handle the increasing focus on biologics
  • Advise Project Leaders on best practise project execution – methodology, tools, templates…
  • Contribute to planning and arranging of the yearly LEO100 forum (our senior leadership team)

Your primary client is the top management in LEO Pharma, together with the top LEO100 leaders in the organisation.

Change agent with strategic mindset and project management skills
You have a degree at master’s level, e.g. within engineering or business. This is backed by a minimum of 5-6 years’ experience from a role centred on change management in a major international company or a consulting firm where you have executed projects for major international companies. As such, you have a fully loaded toolbox including project management experience and solid financial understanding. You have made valuable mistakes, and you are not afraid to make new ones because you know how to harvest the learning and turn it into better tools, processes etc.

You will need all of your overview in combination with your ability to keep calm and balanced even though you are right in the middle of numerous agendas, projects and tasks. It is equally important that you thrive in an environment of uncertainty where LEO is building something new. This takes courage and a positive mindset including the ability to handle failures as opportunities for learning. Additionally, you will need a lot of energy and stamina. As your success is based on your ability to make colleagues follow your agenda, you must naturally have very good communication skills – and be able to establish an open-minded and constructive dialogue with people across professional, cultural and geographical borders.

The Business Transformation Office – your new team
You will join three skilled and dedicated colleagues in LEO Pharma’s Business Transformation Office. BTO owns the development and execution of LEO Pharma’s corporate strategy. The key objective is to facilitate the business transformation of LEO Pharma and make sure LEO meets the 2025 targets. To do so, the team aims to make business transformation a natural part of the daily working culture in LEO.

The work environment is characterised by a positive energy and a will to succeed as a team. You can look forward to very helpful colleagues and valuable knowledge sharing on a daily basis. The position is based at LEO Pharma’s headquarter in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen.
